Snacks and Water
Proper nutrition and hydration can DEFINITELY boost thinking and learning!
Second grade will not be eating lunch until 1:25 each day. Therefore, we will enjoy a snack mid-morning to help “tide us over” until lunchtime rolls around!
Please plan to send an appropriately-sized, healthy snack that is easy for your child to open and eat.
This might include: fruit, veggies, string cheese, crackers, pretzels, dry cereal, yogurt, lowfat/light popcorn, etc.
Snacks that should NOT be sent to school include: chips, candy, cookies, chocolate, buttery popcorn, etc.
